"The Lost Boy"

InterplayArt™ portrays interconnectedness. I believe that everything is comprised of energy and everything is connected.

The fundamental palette I use is a mix of two digital images. I creatively adjust the interplay between the two images using patented image-processing software called Lucis®.

The resulting digital art has depth. The intertwining detail is beautiful and complex. The more you look at the image, the more you will see.

The image to the left is the interplay of a grayscale image of a boy in a forest with a color image of a town by the sea. When two images are interplayed, they effect each other. The trees add texture to the town. The water adds texture to the boy. The more you look the more detail you will see. This image is in the Poetic Collection.

The images on this web site are low resolution, so the final printed product will have substantially more detail. When viewing images, click on the Image Detail buttons to see a small piece of the image at a higher resolution.

My goal is to create capitivating, meaningful and fun images that stand the test of time in terms of durability and interest.

My images are printed on watercolor paper using archival inks specified to last for 85 years. Each image takes 1.5 hours to print at 2880 dpi.

I love image processing. Please contact me if you would like a custom piece developed from a favorite photograph or if you would like to work with me collaboratively.

All posted Interplay Art images are Signed Limited Edition prints unless otherwise noted. No more than 300 copies of any image will be printed. For more information please visit the Online Store.
