"The Lost Boy" was created by interplaying a grayscale image of a boy in a forest with a color image of a town on the ocean shore. This was only the second time I ever interplayed a color and grayscale image. This was the first time that the grayscale image was the "main" image.

The waves give wonderful texture and color to the boy. The forest adds texture to the town. The boats, buildings, and cars provide vibrant detail. Notice there is a church by the boy's hands.
