"Consolation" has hidden depths. I started by processing the image of a river with trees and waterfalls about a dozen times until it was reduced to a pattern of textures. I then interplayed this textured image with the grayscale image of a boy being held by his mother.

You can see waterfalls through the woman's hand and arm. A rainbow runs along her arm. The trees interplay with the boy's face. The river flows across his chest. Blades of grass are in the lower left hand corner.
